I'm aiming to have it BOMBed before I take delivery if I can!
Actually, for now I just want to do some mild things like gauges and somewhere down the road an exhaust brake. I love stacks, but my wife thinks they look trashy. (anybody know a cheap divorce lawyer?)

One standard measure of efficiency for road transportation is BTU's consumed per ton-mile traveled. If you run that computation, you'll find out where the diesel makes sense.

We towed the same 13,500 lb 36' triple slide 5th wheel with our 1996 V-10 dually (47RE/3.55 axle) and our current 2002 Cummins HO dually (NV5600 6-speed/4.10 axle). Over the same route, the V-10 got 6.5 MPG while the Cummins got 10.5 MPG.

Ok you got here a whole 900 lbs huh well when you get yer new girlfriend she won't even think she's dressed unless you put 100lbs on her and parade her around. so now you only haffta make 12 trips instead of 30 so your net milage + about 3 mpg in the jetta

BTW I hope you know this is all in fun actually you can put the Jetta in the back OF THE CTD and take her for a ride.

Also there are no cheap divorce lawyers if your gonna do it get the best and only do it once.
My ex-wife told me I would have to quit fishin or lose her. I think about her once in a while on those calm days trolling down the lake with nothing in particular on my mind I wonder what shes doing now ................
