Does Dodge Ever do 0% for 72months?

I want a Cummins.

I've been on several test drives of the '07 Duramax and Cummins. I like the Chevy truck better, but I like the way the Dodge drives better.

It also appears the Dodge is cheaper.

But I'd really like to get 0 for 72, vs the current 0 for 60.

Has anyone ever seen 0 for 72?

Related: the dealers I talk to (without bargaining) say if I want the 0% I don't get any rebates and have to pay sticker. Obviously never in a million years would I do that, but what is the strategy to get the low price and the good financing?

Thnx

Get the rebates and finance through your credit union. Six years at 7% currently.

(I got 3.5% for six years on mine when I bought it new in '03 . )

Dodge has offered 0% for 72 before but their current promotion is 0% for 60.

You really need to do the math because most of the time it pays to take the rebate and pay finance charges. On my 05 I saved about 1500 bucks by taking the rebates and financing through my credit union as opposed to doing a 0% finance rate the DC. The total finance charge for 60 months is 34xx and change. I applied a 5k rebate to the cost of the truck. 1500 on my side and my credit union makes some money too...

As for the 0% AND paying sticker, that is a joke. Time to find another dealer that wants your business.

with discounts of around $10,000 off sticker, take the cash. btw- when the amount remaining on your loan gets low enough, you can tranfer the balance to a 0% credit card and save $$$ on finance charges.

But by that time the lump of the finance charges has already been paid.

I guess what I'm really trying to get at is:

*can i get that 10-11k off
*and the 0% if I play my cards right

And if so, is there ever 72, or is 60 as good at it gets.

To answer your question... No. People get 10-11k off sticker because of the rebates.

Who knows what DC is going to do. I am willing to bet that with the lifetime warranty on alot of their vehicles that 0% for 72 will not come back around.

Unless times get tough.

They didnt advertise the deal I got on Dodge's website, but I got a $5k rebate and 0% for 72. The reason: I picked up a leftover 06 in March of 07.

As for paying sticker for a truck when you get 0%, laugh and snicker and tell their manager about it as you walk out. They tried to feed me that line at one dealership and I went up the road and got a truck. Came back and showed it to them

I put more than 50% down when I bought mine, and they said, if you do that, there is an offer from Chrysler where you can extend the 60 months to 72 months. So I got 0% for 72 months, I don't know if it is the same in the US or not, but it is worth looking into. 0% for 6 years is hard to beat, especially on a truck like this! I also only paid $400 over dealer invoice on this truck.
