Are you running 60" tall tires?
You're driving a truck with the aerodynamics of an average brick.

Just for giggles, try keeping the rpm below 2000 or the speed below 65 mph and see if your milage improves.

He just answered his own question! And is this for real??? Past 1850 R's in mine, I can watch my MPG drop,

It's your driving habits! Easy with the foot and you will see a big improvement.

Simple response guys...Troll.

By his writing and "lack of computer skills," it's obvious.

Jan 2004 was when it was manufactured. I just took it for a drive. At 2000 rpms, I'm doing about 80MPH.

Sounds like a 3.55 gear.
At 2200 rpm with my 4.10s I'm doing ~65 mph.

Your mileage will nose dive above 70 as drag increases exponentially.

i have to keep the rpms under 2000 to get any really good mileage out of my drw

as long as i do 70 @ 1900 rpms i will get 18+ down the road over 70 and it will kill my gas mileage, combined driveing city and climbing the mountains home every night i get 16-17

if you truly are getting 11 mpg you have a problem
