I will nod or tap the smoke pedal if I see them in time. I work with 4 or 5 diesel guys and will try to wave to them and black the road out if I see them in time...haha

I got used to waving at same vehicle drivers back when I had my Wrangler, they weren't kiddin with the whole "It's a Jeep thing" I got waves from everyone. So I just decided to continue it and wave at fellow Cummins guys. Maybe just my town, but we always get the staredown going with other diesels. All the Powerjoke guys think their trucks are the baddest around here. And yeah I've gotten the occasional finger from ppl in convertibles when they get covered in soot. Don't tailgate and it won't happen.

Too many diesels where I'm at. I'd be waving so much I couldn't keep my hands on the wheel.

I'm in TX as well and get either an eager wave or utter bewilderment when I wave at other ctd rigs around. There's a lot of them here so... I guess it follows that reactions vary.

why are there so many Dodges in Tx ? Ebay is full of them. Is it because they are so close to Mexico ?

I wave, but I think since my truck is old and crusty, most drivers of new diesels look at me like I'm a 4 year old trying to get a big rig to honk the horn..hehe, oh well.

I make sure I always wave at the 1st gens. I'd love to have one. I only wave at Cummins drivers not the other diesel guys.

I was going to say that about being from Texas. (Drive friendly the Texas way).

I only wave at people I know. But if its another CTD/2500/3500 Ram then I do the two finger lift. Ya know, pointer finger and middle finger lifted up off the steering wheel. Slowstrokes or duracraps don't get any thing but black smoke from me.

I live in a hick town. Everyone waves! Yes though I always tend to get or give a nod or hand gesture from other Cummins drivers.
