Actually, biodiesel is made from soy beans. It is a renewable resource that the oil companies dont want us to us. The democrats voted the subsidy down because they dont believe the government should be giving money to farmers to subsidize anything. It would be great to be free from the need of middle east oil and get our troops back from that area!

Actually bio diesel can be a mixture of vegetable and animal fats, including used cooking oils. Rendering plants are getting on the bio diesel band wagon also. Tranist busses are running off 12% veg oil, 47% used fryer oil and 41% animal fats. Found this while searching the net. Your truck may be burning a mad cow...

Depends where you get it. World energy has sold virgin soy biodiesel for a long time. Griffin sells their bio-G3000, which is made from recycled oils and some virgin oils. There are a lot of varieties of biodiesel fuel. All of them give a big middle finger to the middle east and foreign oil consumption

I know some of the recycling plants run all their boilers on reclaimed oil. I'm sure they weren't too afraid to embrace new technology. Saves 'em a bundle over natural gas or dino oil..

Hoss is just a big chicken.. ;D

Guess this way you could always top off the tank at the local McD's. Could always add a pack of that "Buffalo Sauce"as a fuel aditive
