I have tried everywhere local to me to get a copy of the third Diesel Power Mag, all the yahoo's in the Barnes and Knoble around here say "the computer says we received five, but we don't know if we still have it"... DIPS!!!! Anybody out there willing to send me a copy before I hurt one of these folks? If so PM me and I will send ya a check or money order w/shipping. I'm getting desperate

PS... in regards to the subscription.. Here's the response I got when I e-mailed them about the subscription I ordered in JUNE:

Unfortunately, we are not sure if this subscription is determined if this will be a subscription publication at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience in this matter.

Sincerely,

I havent seen any around here since the first issue left the shelves. I have given up worrying about it. I would rpobably subscribe if i could find another issue. Im not worried about asking someone to go through the trouble of sending me one, but i still dont understand why i cant find them anywhere around here??

I suspect that they are really low budget starting off. So they are probably using that new ford to deliver the goods to the stores. Since the fords have the track record they do, they can't make any promises that the magazine will make it to the delivery drop (without a timely stop at the dealer for a new engine).... and this is the reason they can't offer a subscription at this time .... Now if they would sell that ford and buy a used Cummins, then the magazines future would be secure. Man these engines solve all problems if you look at them at the correct angle...

I'll sum up issue two for you...

Ford, Ford, Ford, Banks, Ford, Banks, there are a few other diesels out there. Ford.

I haven't seen 3 yet. Guess I need to go to Borders.

The web site states the Winter issue (4th) is out on newstands now!!! Here I go again, I just found the 3rd!!! The good news is the subscribe area states that if you did subscribe you will see your first issue in December, maybe there is still hope.
PS... here's the web site: www.dieselpowermag.com
