My local Wal Mart is $1.73 and the Shell down the street is $1.79 for premium diesel.

OK, so I'm not imagining things... it's gone up quite a bit here, too... $1.80-$1.85 in my area...

Just when I finally get a diesel and tell my fiancee' "But the fuel is like $.15 a gallon less!" It goes HIGHER than the cost of 87 octane...

I wish I could sympathize with you guys, but I just paid $2.09 / gal south of Portland, OR. Some of the stations are staying around $2.15 or even higher! We have some of the highest fuel prices in the country out here. Somebody is making some $$$ of these prices!

your not alone within the last month diesel went from being 40 cents cheaper than reg gas to being the same price now how did they figger that !!! what a joke
we must go to coast to coast fueling regulations in place by the goverment
its not comunism
its common sence

How about we just keep our own crude that we pump out of Alaska and quit depending on foreign oil all together... we'll see how fast they come down on those barrel prices...

Alaska has the nice light crude oil, we export that, and import the high sulfer stuff from the Saudi's. The Iran/Iraq stuff is smewhere in the middle. I think Africa is the worst as far as quality of crude goes.

by non regulating the fueling prices you let companys charge what ever they feal like just 1 cent a gallon increase to a large petrol company is probly millions of $$ in profit
most stations make little to no profit what so ever
we had a family station and on our gas pumps we didnt even make enough profit to pay for the electicity to run the pumps no lie
the only profit is from hiking the diesel price. to cover the bill
the pumps brought customer who buy cigs and pop and candy thats the profit for the store.
most station just look at other stations to see what their prices are
and we used to charge 1 cent less then it goes back and forth THATS HOW BEING NON COMMUNIST IS A GREAT BENIFIT TO THE CONSUMERS
how ever we could'nt do that any more because after so long you cant afford to. and you just match what ever the compition is getting on fuel.
AND HOPE YOU BREAK EVEN
its that way everywhere you cant blame the stations for this its the oil companys and they must be regulated. its getting real bad.
MILK IS CHEAPER THAN OIL .........WOW LOOK HOW FAR WE HAVE CAME.
its time for someone to put a stop to it..........the goverment.
OH well pretty soon I'll just get a fuel cell car and see if I can get steam to flow from my stacks.
