You work for the military?

Somebody can finally answer my question of whether or not the 20% statistic is true?

Thank God almighty, I've been wondering about the validity of that statement for years.

(Are you sure that none of your Diesel is of the bio-brand, though? Are you double sure? Where do you get it from?)

Did you know that the US Armed Forces run B-20 in every Diesel vehicle they operate?
They don't but the military is currently the largest user and producer of BD. The Navy uses the largest amount of the services.
Long term plan is to go to B100 on all military vehicles.

So how much does the military use on average?

I've heard 20% from a few sources, and that they didn't use any from a few sources, and nobody seems to know for sure...

That's alright P.J. I get around, and I too have yet to see a "B" pump.

I cant answer for anywhere but here, right now at least there is no availability of it in the area. I know it is the sort of ting the enviormental guys would jump on and push for.
Currently we purchase from a local distributor.

I've looked and so far the closest station to have bio to VA beach is up the eastern shore in maryland...about 2.5 hrs away. I only pass it when we are taking the family cruiser to visit my outlaws in NY so I haven't been able to tank up. My wife doesn't like the idea of 50 gal drums in the back of her van

Cummins engines to get B20 capabilities

There is a source much closer in West Point, VA between Williamsburg and Richmond but they only produce B100 from soybeans - Virginia Biodiesel (they have a website.) Phone 804.843.9258 I fill my 60 gallon tank in the bed and mix it with dino diesel to maintain a B20-30 approx. mixture.

PS. It's a production plant, not a 'gas' station but they sell on-road and off-road (same stuff) to anyone. It's an 8:00 to 5:00 show, though, and is located about three miles off I-64.
