I've seen several episodes of Trick My Truck. The only decent truck they have done was one that was very patriotic, similar to the 9-11 truck what was driving around a year or two afterwards.

Its all show, and a great advertising tool. And thats what it is. Can you imagine how much money banks made off that show? Who cares if its crap! People will buy that stuff, and want that stuff only because it was on TV.

Trick My Truck, Pimp my Ride and Overhaulin' are just jokes in my opinion. Overhaulin is sometimes "okay" but seriously, why do we have to put huge sound systems, 22" ugly-*** wheels, on a car that somebody loves? They waste perfectly good Chevelle's and Mustangs. Although did do justice to a Early Bronco....still....

Can we start our own show and build the trucks right and then show them how they whoop everyone else? All the shows do is show the Before/Now pics, not after pics. THe after pics would be burnouts, truck pulls, drag racing while using REAL products that give it real power.

Then show how they can do what they are meant to.

LMAO, My wife left the room when the banks power pack kit came up, she knew what was next.... What, the purple and the gold is bad enough and then they put that crap on there to; I should have known!!! I want the tires, he can have the truck....

 

they turned a nice looking, well worked farm truck into a P.O.S! those tires aren't going to do anything in the mud.

 

uhh.... i hope you wernt referring to Overhaulin' with that 22" wheels and huge sound systems stuff. cause that isnt what that show is about. Chip Foose talks to family and friends about what paint color(s) the owner wanted, how the owner would want the interior, stock vs. custom, and then puts a twist on it.

they also very rarely use 22's, and more often than not, those ugly *** wheels are one off Foose creations.

i am restoring a car that i have spent 5 years working on that isnt even close to what they can do in a week.
