Biodiesel and lubricity

Howdy!

I've noticed some discussions here regarding the lubricity, or lack thereof, of contemporary diesel and some other alternative fuels. Some of you might be intereste in the following link which contains information on this and how biodiesel can help with this:

http://www.soypower.net/Lubricity.asp

Scroll down about 2/3 for some empirical numbers. Looks like even small percentages of biodiesel are desireable.

When I was doing USDA research on bio we found that 1% bio (B1) increased #2 diesel lubricity by 60%. This is well into the minimum lubricity requirements of any engine made.
More is not necessarily better but certainly doesn't hurt anything.

I run B20 and everything I've every read/heard says that BD in any % mix increases lubricity over #1 or #2.
