Average Hrs on a used diesel

Was wondering what would be an average amount of hours on a Dodge cummins diesel say a 2003 model? I realize at highway speed/60mph+/- but also stop lights, short trips, etc. Thanks

Most vehicles that are not used for lots of city driving and not idled for long periods have lifetime averages around 40mph.

On our International that is 95% highway use @ 65-70 mph when I checked the total engine hours against the miles it was about 45 miles to the hour. I do a bit of idling with the refer but not too much.( Has an engine driven Thermo king)

The 2003 should be able to tell you hours and you can get the average mph...

Most the rigs I have owned where I have had hour meters I am right around 30-31 mph average... My wife's 4runner says the MPH average per tank, usually in the 25-30 range for her driving, more city (well as city as Boise is) than me.

My truck has an average of 42.4 MPH

I do a combination of Highway and lots of rural driving on secondary roads and gravel backroads. Very limited city, i let it idle some in the cold or in the heat to get my cab a more human friendly temp, but not a heck of a lot of idling either.
