Around the world by boat with Bio-Diesel

Saw a thing on the news about this boat this morning.
Strange looking hull, they were doing testing in Charleston SC today.
They are going to go around the world on bio-diesel starting next month.

Sort of doubt the boat will be the first one around the world on BD since the US Navy has been the largest refiner and user of BD in the world for at least five years.
Maybe the first private vessel though.

I'm sure they're talking about a private vessel.

We don't use bio on the ship that I'm on or any other ship that I am aware of. We use dfm which is diesel fuel with no additves. It has a flashpoint of 140. I think the diesel vehicles the navy has do use bio. If the navy starts using bio in ships there will not be enough left for us to use in our trucks. My ship holds 750,000 gallons of fuel.
