i built a truck on dodge.com and you can still get a 5.9L but my question is would it have the filter with the sensors on the exhaust

 

You can not get a new Dodge truck built after Jan 1, 2007 with the 5.9... the website is incorrect.

Your best bet is to find a leftover 2007(pre 1/1/07) with the 5.9.

 

There are still a FEW 5.9L's at our local dealer here. Mostly AT's or with odd option packages. The 6.7L's with the Bluetec package (which they all have) are the ones with the DPF or Diesle Particulate Filter, and more to the point, EGR for the first time on a Dodge/Cummins. Don't you just love the EPA regulators...
