25+ miles per gallon in a Dodge CTD....
That milage is definitely not possible with the third generation trucks, especially newer than model year 2004.5 and newer. Model year 2003 - 2004 see 19 to 20 best (Two injection events per cycle) and trucks after that not better than 14 -17 (Three injection events per engine cycle).
My mileage has gone up since summer, as I'm not using the AC much, and a fresh pan of Rotella synthetic seems to have boosted the MPG by about 1 mpg.
All of my numbers are hand calculated, and my overhead guesser is *usually* within +/- 1mpg.
It's been said before, but I'll say it again: these trucks are living, breathing creatures with their own personalities. Treat them well, and they'll treat you well.
