12 valve find...

There is this guy that is down the road from me, he has a 12 valve that has been sitting on 4 flat tires for a year or so... I stop by every so often to try to get him to come off of it... he says that he finally got the turbo fixed, and he's gonna get it running. I gave him DTR's website, and told him that all the info he need was on here.

I'm still kinda mad that he's getting it fixed, I wanted to get him to come off of it for a couple of grand, and start building that 1/4 mile truck...

I'll stop by in another couple of months... he probably will not have it running still.

Close to my house is a nice QB, LB that has had the front end apart for about a year now sitting in the driveway. Everytime I drive by I can hear it wimpering asking me to save it and give it a good home.

Go for it Johnny! You may be able to pick it up for a song! And you never know the story, but you may be just the help they are looking for...I'm referring to the fact that they may be in a state of real financial need, and you buying their truck may get the just what they need...it's worth the risk!

But do be ready for a quck change of plan if, when you pull up in the driveway, a dog runs at your truck sideways, and attaches itself to your bumper...I know someone who had this happen, and made a quick, important U-turn...
