1.6l VW
I'm working on my '86 VW Golf with 1.6l diesel that I just dragged home ($100 Canadian, how could I not buy it). I put it on an IV fuel feed and it started right up, but it only runs at one speed (fast), the positions of the throttle and the manual timing advance seem to have no affect on engine speed.
The question: what is the best VW forum to go to for old beaters like this one?
