Ga Mike...
I went all the way down to Steele Al. for this event and first I was dissappointed with it being 1/8th mile instead of 1/4 mile. But the weather (on Sat.) was excellent and there were some very nice gassers both cars and rails. After waiting all day for the diesel trucks to run, half of them broke, one which did not break shut down waaaay early and overall a very disappointing show. I walked through the pits to look at the trucks. When asked questions, they were answered with arrogant remarks by two different teams. The exception was Scheid Diesel rail. It was obviously a class machine attended by somebody who remembered the fans pay the bill.
I did not even stay to see the second run... There are much better shows elswhere. Hope this was just a bad day for the diesel truck crowd.

I was looking forward to going, but could not make it. It sounds like I didn't miss to much. To bad, maybe next year will be better. Thanks for the report Mr Bee.
