Been using ATF, engine oil and hydraulic oil for almost 30 years. Have 450K on the clock with original injectors. P pumped 12 valves love it. Runs much better and has more power. Naysayers never tried it and don't know what they are talking about. I suggest avoiding synthetics unless you blend it with other oils at no more than 5% I dump all clean oils in a drum and mix. I add about 10-15 gal per tank.


I have also used hydraulic and ATF oil in 3rd gens when water got into the system many times. It will clean the injectors. Dealer usually wants $14000 to replace the whole fuel system because they " found rust in the lines". The only problem is the exhaust gets stopped up from the water but you know what to do for that.
