Long term effects of biodiesel

What are the long term effects of running biodiesel in a 12 valve, or any diesel for that matter. Does anyone have a link to a paper or a story that would give a good explanation over any ill or positive effects that running biodiesel in a truck for 100K or preferrably more miles.
