I sure did not enjoy this part:

Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst with the Oil Price Information Service, said the U.S. in recent months has been exporting between 300,000 and 500,000 barrels of diesel fuel a day to Europe, where most vehicles are diesel-powered. In exchange, European nations have been sending about 1 million barrels a day of surplus gasoline. And more diesel is being shipped to nations with expanding economies, he added.

The Chinese have contracts with every nation in the middle east for most of thier oil...not taking it all, just controlling it.

I wonder how long they can keep this up? Is it all a house of cards or is thier economy strong? I have read stories that the food prices in China have tripled in the last year, and there are shortages. Can't feed an industrial nation without food.

I think they may be putting on a show for the olympics this summer, what will happen afterward, Time will tell.

Just in case you're interested. This is a neat website. Back up and check out just about any city in the world. China has some huge modern cities.
