3.49 in far northern california.
Anyone who is happy about these prices needs to go jump in a cold high mountain lake and wake up.
The oil companies are still giving it to us doggie style and don't even have the courtesy to ask if we want sand with the screwing.

Thanks, that's not that far away. Maybe that price will work it's way up to the high desert real soon. I am sooo looking forward to seeing #2 back in the $2.00 range again. We can only hope.

RichM752, No I am not happy about these prices. Since oil is half the price it was in July you would think we should be paying half as well, But try filling up at $5.49 a gallon and YES .....$3.00 looks really good right now.

I paid $3.17 at the Loves in Chandler, AZ on Friday. I'm seeing $2.97 on gas buddy right now. Hopefully Americans will continue to conserve. If we see the low prices and go back to our old ways it will just shoot back up.

Prices will go up about 15 minutes after the polls close. It's a political strategy, guys. Incumbants don't want voters filling up on their way to the polls and being ticked off at paying $100 to fill up their Honda Civic. As soon as the elections are over, gas will be over $3.50/gal and diesel will be over $4.50/gal. Enjoy it while it lasts, guys. I know I am.
