Bio Pro Titration Question...

Just wondering how the bio pro series machines get away without having to do a titration. I know the system is plug and play, but other systems make you do a little science to get the finished product. With the Bio Pro you just dump in the same amount all the time and then wait. How different are the batches that are produced by the Bio Pro? I am looking at making a set up myself, just wondering about the Bio Pro systems and why are the two processes different.

Ya, " The Go/No Go kits just determine if the FFA content is less than <5%. If the FFA are <5% the machine will process it automatically. If not, you can always run it manually". This is directly from a sales rep.

So basically its plug and play, but you could have to do some manual processing if the machine can not get it right with the estimated amount of stuff you load in it.

I believe the BioPro uses a primary reaction to break down the FFAs, negating the need to do the whole titration step.

edit: BioPro 190 goes for $8,400.
