Can you run bio diesel found at fuel stations or do you have to have some kind of modification?? i passed by a station selling B20 and was wondering

 

While this thread is still here...Run it like you stole it. I don't think there's a problem at all in a 2000.. I went right from ulsd to b100 without a hitch. I did need to change the fuel filter rather quicly after the switch..

 

Man, I wish I could find B20 around here. All that is close is B5.

 

I have run B20 for the last yr and love it. Starts better and idles more smoothly. I did loose almost 1 mpg.

Not sure when it started , but I've read that the comin rail fuel systems had a problem with bio , I would like to know more about that , there are so many variables if the fuel that I find it hard to just accept a lot of claims like this with out actual info .
At this time I buy from a refiner , I want to make it in the future .
