Wauchula FL August sled pull

August 25th is the next sled pull in wauchula, florida. There were some that thought the last one was rained out, this track is covered bleachers and all. Rain is not a factor here. Lots of new trucks pulled at the July 21st pull hope to see everyone back in august.

glad to see you guys are getting a turn out, i cant wait til it really takes off like it has here, i think alot more people will want to pull as time passes cause anyone can do it, unlike the mud pits where its guys with 50+ inch tires on rockwells.

that will give you a good reason to throw a twin disk slipper in it.

September 15th, 2007 we have another pull at Charlotte County Fair Grounds 2333 El Jobean Rd.
Directions: I-75 to exit 179 then south on Toledo Blade across u.s. 41 then right on El Jobean Rd also(s.r. 776) until you see the fair grounds.
.
Pulls start @ 5:00 p.m., weigh-in at 3:00. This will be a regular all pull event.
All diesels will pull in one class regardless of mods. We will seperate the trucks on paper after the event to see who won the stock turbo class.
Try and make it. It's a longer track.
Bring your more agressive tires. 8,000 lb. Hanging weights ok.

Wauchula is only 205' - Charlotte County Fair Grounds is around 270' - 280' Fort Myers I think 250' - 270'. We are working on 3 and possibly 4 new track locations. The sled is a weight transfer sled not sure if that is what you are asking. The classes will be split for diesel starting in January. Until then only split when we have all diesel pull. The reason is because the regular pull is for points and will finish in December. Restarting in January we will be spliting the diesel classes and are talking about doing the diesels the following day with one class still on saturday night maybe a test and tune option.

Whos sled? Keith is his name and he just deals with his gas guys and gals. It is up to us to run, tech, and make the rules for the diesel classes. This is what Im involved in along with a few others.

Name of the sled? "The Judge" Keith had two but sold the other to someone in Ohio. Keith did tell me someone here just bought another sled and is doing some repairs to it right now. Keith is the only person with a sled running events in the state.

As we build the interest and turn out we can put together a plan to have a series.

I, we have been working on rules for the diesel classes. Want to have them done by January. In January we are planning to start with a two day event. Running the normal gas and one diesel class on saturday night, and sunday running the diesel classes. We have also talked about some diesel only saturday nights, with two in the works right now for this year.
