I think part of the issue has to do with how the pulls are setup.. Most are not at fair type events.. And there is no pay out.. (not that the pay outs are big.. or cover the costs.. but still.)
Its going to take a group to organize... and set some rules.. and inforce the rules that are set.. One way would to have pulls at locations where they are going to have Antique pull the following day.. (they usually pull on Saturday.) and have event on Friday night.. The other issue is sleds that can handle the trucks.. there are a few that can handle the trucks out there now.. but has the HP increases.. better sleds will be needed... (The sled out of Stephenville can handle most trucks/tractors.)
good deal
Excellent, give me a call when you get it done. Just might have to take a ride in it.
By the way, I just might know where there is another crazy common rail lurking that will make big power this summer.

I have not seen any dates for the Sandyland Pullers.. They usually pull in the area from Odessa to Brownfield/Lubbock, but I do not know if they pull trucks.. I've only been to a few of their pulls.. (Great group of guys..)

Delion is the first weekend after the first full week in August. sounds funny but thats how they do it. Its just down the road from me, I pulled twice with my 1st gen. the first time sliped the stock clutch with the NV4500, pulled last year with the Allison 545 but the VE injection pump was pouring more fuel out the side than threw the injectors. not bad for a truck with over 500,000 miles.
