Stacks are everywhere!

Sitting at an intersection yesterday, noticed a crewcab ford with 4 guys in it at the other light. Had like 8" stacks sticking up about a foot over the cab, looked absurd. Like street light poles sticking up behind his cab. Guy was flooring it and slowing down a lot once the light changed. Big dummy. Then I saw a dodge with stacks going the other direction on the highway. I guess now that companies are making kits, everyone will have them.

I've been seeing them more lately too. Used to NEVER see them! Not only are companies making bolt on kits now, diesel tuning as a whole is becoming more well known and popular.

It might also be that in many sanctioned pulls the exhaust has to exit straight up or down.

My vote goes with what strokethis said. I honestly never would even think about stacks, but now I think I'm going to pretty much put them on. My pickup smokes so bad at take off and the only way to contol it is put the smaller injectors back in. What fun would that be. Alos at every pull I have to put flex pipe over my tail pipes and point it up or down.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

They look... south-side-of-the-city-ish to me.

But, that's why we have freedom of choice.
