Got to give credit where its due. Streetsmokers truck pulls all duties but sled pulling. He goes to the track, unhooks the trailer from the rear of it with his jeep cherokee on it, makes mid to low 12 second passes all night, hooks back up to the trailer and leaves from there headed to Colorado to climb rocks in the jeep. All that and gets 14+ MPG towing!!!! Thats impressive to me I guess because I have seen it first hand!

I had the truck setup for pulling and wasn't running it all out. I qualifed 2nd in QD with a 12.07@115.9 mph. I cracked the #6 piston at the big end in the 1st round of QD eliminations. The truck still ran a 12.1@113 and I held on for the win. When the piston broke, oil was pushed out the exhaust and out the oil fill cap.

Ooofff...yeah I'd say a cracked piston would make a bit of blowby. Sorry to hear it!

I would junk that truck. I'll take it off your hands for trade for my truck. Sounds like a good deal(for me).

Yes, the original LB7 engine that came in the truck. We should be ready to go for Indy.
