Pulling with a Stock 48re
I was thinking just for fun you pull my 3500 in a fair this year. I have a 50 HP tow tune in the truck. Will the stock transmission be able to take one or two pulls down the track?

Obviously, it's a gamble. But I sled pulled a couple of times with the stock trans (before the DTT build) and it did just fine. I also ran down the track a few times....drag strip....with no ill effects. Smarty on level 9.
I can't say I recommend doing it. But mine was fine. I had some money set aside for the build though.
