pulling dd3850 bronze

is there any downside to getting a bronze insert in a 3850 dual disk clutch?
will a clutch with no insert handle more abuse pulling?
other than rebuilding what is the insert used for?

The bronze inlays are put into clutches adsorb heat better also makes a rebild very easy
