Pulling with an auto w/lock up switch

Was wondering how you guys pull with a lock up switch or what works best. Take off in 1st shift into 2nd and lock the converter and go for third or what.
I just installed a lock up switch and was wondering what would work the best?

Thank you for your help!

Dustin

start with the shifter in second and 4 low. as soon as the sled starts to move hit the lock-up switch and then shift into 3rd. At the end of the track unlock the lockup switch.
