Outlaw Trk & Tractor Class Opening

Hello all! Last night I went to the Iowa State Fair and watched one great show. It was the Grand National Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull. They had they awesome diesel super stock tractors, bad Edit super farms, modified tractors, 2 wheel drives, 4 wheel drives, and much more.
BUT, the thing that thrilled me was Street Stock Diesel Pick ups. Granted this is not a class right now and there were only three at the event last night, but this would be a great oppturnity for us diesel enthusiasts to pull at big pulls for some money.
I talked to the Outlaw President and he told me if I could come up with 7-8 people that would try to follow the circuit, a class for these trucks could be opened. Once we can get some people together we would meet with the president of the Outlaw circuit to make the rules for this class and have it ready for next season. The best part is: The pay out for winning this class would be $2000. And I believe that is per event. I'm from Iowa and we don't have any diesel truck pulls that pay that good to win anywhere near that I am aware of.
So if anyone else is interested please voice your opinion and feel free to email me @ dieselwrencher@netscape.net. I would love to be able to be a part of this as I'm sure many of you would be.
Let's not let this oppturnity pass us up!

His ears must be burning, I just emailed them yesterday asking if they were going to have a non-sanctioned pull in Jefferson City, MO when they are here th 25th and 26th of this month. The did the same thing in Platt City, MO and it payed out 2,000 last month, but didn't do it at the Missouri State Fair. I would be interested but it would depend on how much it costs to join, etc.

outlaw response

Yes Doug is still president and I am working on finding out how much it will cost to join from my uncle who pulls a modified tractor. I think it should be the same, but I'm not sure. Do you know anyone else who might be interested? The more the merrier.

I saw his rig pull in half way through the pull and was hoping it would pull. Then when I saw it get unloaded I got excited. I wasn't thrilled at all when 2 Duracraps beat your friend. Right then I really wished I would have had either of my fords out there. It sounded good other than the cutting out. It will be a good one when he gets it straightened out. Do you guys live near Iowa?

I think this could be good for the guys in the midwest, since most of the stuff i see on here is more east/west coast. plus it would liven up the pulls cuz everyone loves a good smokefest. plus i would liek to see how that terd of a Ferd you got really runs DieselWrencher. plus it would get ppl together and be able to compare to this area and maybe start up some good friendly competitivness. wish i could do it but no front end hinders it plus i dont have the luxury of a second vehicle if my current ride breaks. hope this gets goign cuz i know i would attend.

I'll show you turd!

I can draw you a map to the next truck pull and instead of hooking to the sled you can hook to my hitch. We'll see about a turd, probabaly the one in your pocket.

I dont need a map. and ill only hook up if you pull in 2wd so its reasonably fair and to the white one not the red one. oh and you pay for any broken parts. man you cant take a joke for anything, yours is tweaked more than mine is.
