Talking NC Pull - East Bend

Hey fellas! Don't usually post down here but I've been seeing some of you post about the pulls in East Bend. A guy I work with pulls there and told me that they are putting a pull on July 7 and 8. If any of you are interested come on down. The "stock" diesel class is if you can tag it you can pull it as long as it doesn't weigh over 8000#. Entry fee is $5 and hook fee is $5. Hope to see a few more dodges out this time. Last time a Ferd won.

I may go and at least watch. I'd like to pull but I'm afraid of trashing the OFE before I get a DD. I want to have a good saleable clutch when I pull it out. Mike I got a clevis hitch the other day that you can use. Maybe I'll just watch you.

2-Stroke: Eastbend is about 45 minutes sorta southeast of Mt. Airy. You can take 601 to 67 its right off of it. Not hard to find.

I might be there for this one also if I'm not having my clutch installed that weekend. I also just found out that my traction bars are FINALLY shipping today or tomorrow. So if I have a DD in at that time along with my bars, and somebody lets me borrow a clevis or something to hitch up with, I might actually get to pull.

Keegan, you can borrow mine if it is something that can be shared ok......not sure on timing.....and I did already offer it to Mike D. I may be having my new clutch put in then so not sure if I'll be there or not. Timinva is checking on some things for me.

BTW, what traction bars are you getting? Mike D just got me some scrap steel yesterday, may have to fab up a set.

Maybe I can come and watch. I won't have my clutch in by then.....although it should arrive Friday! Install maybe the next weekend. Anybody have directions? I'm in Winston right off of Reynolda which is 67. Anyone with directions from 67?

67 (Reynolda Rd) runs through Eastbend sorta Northwest like your going to 77, Boonville and Jonesville. You can't miss it the truck pull will be on your right.
