I'm planning on being there. I haven't heard from John since Tuesday but at that time his plan was to get my truck back to me by this weekend. And pick another white truck up in Springfield while he was here.

 

I would be there but I am runnin the chevette in a demo derby on saturday night in Rolla.

 

what time does it start???? i'd like to go but i may go help get hay up. hey mike i seen the big bad ferd at the pull in mt home. sled broke so we didn't get to hook. you ready to put it on him??? cause i would love nothing more than to see him get out ran their first or second time to the track. i'm tired of them snobbing their nose up everytime they see me. nothin hacks me off more than people that think they are better than you are talk about burnin my edit. kinda like a midget with a teekee torch.

 

I think 6 o'clock...So is the ford the truck to beat around there?

 

yep. as sad as it makes me to say it the ferd is one bad dude. if i ever learn how to save money i'm gonna try to get my 6spd fast enough to put it on him. i can break off the gearshift quite well and it isn't anythng to eat a GT pony holeshot and all. well, when i don't miss 4th gear. mike said he'd put it on him for me when he got his truck back. this makes me happy.

 

I may not make it truck kicked a code this evening P0236 and truck is in limp mode. Scanner won't clear it, I swapped the map sensor and still same thing. swapped the boost fooler going to the wire that used to run to the stock turbo and still the same thing. Got it fixed, if it don't mess up again I'll be there.

 

Good job on the 2nd place finish gwoody. I don't guess I even know who the red 94 belongs to. I've not seen any trucks out of the Springfield shops make that kind of power. Pack mule I don't think the big fords 12.23 will be a problem later this summer. But I'm not sure if I can drop my 12.84 to a 12.2 using spray without launching a stock 200,000 mile headgasket into the atmosphere. But I'm going to give it a shot. I haven't had near the practice at rebuilding engines as he has though. I'd like to hear what his truck weighs. If he ran a 12.23 with only the 580hp you said he dynoed at he is quite a bit lighter than a Dodge.

i wasn't there to see any runs or the dyno i'm goin off what he is claiming. but, i'd agree they probablly got the engine building down quite fast by now. hehehe i don't know his weight either. i'll find out and let ya know.

 

Adam, how's your truck doin, any idea when you'll get it back?

 

It hasn't left yet. John is supposed to pick it up when he drops mine off.
