Dude, I would be mad also. To make up rules as you go and to put a guy through what Pike county did was really unfair.

Since you seem to be Pike county alum. how did your chevy buddy like getting spanked by a 1st, second and third gen truck. He might as well hang it up. Meigs county didnt have a big payout but at least they DID PAYOUT!

Come to Woodsfield this Friday or Caldwell sat., We were going to the Lancaster shootout but found out that even street trucks got to have driveshaft loops - and to run in the hot class you got to have a kill switch. Thats kinda stupid for a street truck you use every day. So gather all the Pike county boys up and come get some.

 

i aint from pike county, i am from highland county, why would he be mad, he knows the rules, NO DRUGS, where in ANY open class do they allow nitrous....he had a nitrous bottle between the seats AND no diesel truck lights a charger like that then goes to no smoke at that high of rpm's without nitrous, this aint our first rodeo, we've been playing this game a long time.

i am going to lancaster saturday to watch, all the diesels will head there if they cant qualify for scheid, 30+ trucks came in last year all at the same time, they convoyed from scheid, they left that morning and made it just in time for the diesel classes.

 

As far as the caldwell thing I got my lines crossed up..it is on wed. next week.

We got our ducks in a row now putting loops on sat morning for the street class and a kill switch for the hot so I can run with the big boys.

Okay as far as the other deal - he told them he was clean but never said he wasnt running anything else. He got teched and came out clean...the other three chevys left the facility and never got checked. You 'holier than thou, diesel only guys' need to come down off your high horse and quit whining around when someone figures out how to make more HP and beat you -wether its easy HP or hard HP just buck up and go back to the shop during the week and make more HP for yourself. There are other ways to make HP than the use of nitrous, or other gases you know. Every open or hot class event we have been to in the last three years has been "run what you brung" no holds barred. i remember when Vannest blew the charger at the gun club pull. i dont know what open classes you are pulling in, cruise out to scheid this weekend and throw the biggest bottle on the truck ya'll want and run the big classes, i bet they will kick him out, no pull that ive been too, 25+ so far this year, has NEVER allowed any kind of drugs. we pulled wilmington, xenia 3 times, lebanon, chillicothe, hillsboro, gun club, piketon, washington court house, germantown kentucky, lynchburg 2 nites, west union 2 times, clermont county, not a single one allowed drugs and neither did any of the other pulls i went too, go to washington courthouse and run with the DHRA with a nitrous bottle, guess what will happen. you think Erik Stacey, Kyle Michaels, Corey Atley, Van Haisley or any of the open trucks run nitrous, NO. you run a real open class with real open trucks and see what happens.

I dont have a problem with any of you guys, i think the truck runs great, you all are more than welcome to come pull with us, we treat everyone fair, but when people blatantly break the rules, what are we supposed to do, look away, NO, we put on a fair pull, if we didnt, do you think 150 trucks would show up at hillsboro for our pull??

 

So you are telling me that when you go to a "run what you brung" pull they have rules that says anything goes except nos? I aint gettin in no pee pee match here. I dont want to argue. We have alot of fun over here -and Brian and his trucks put on some great shows wherever we go. We have pulled the same amount of times as you ( I have hooked around 23 or 4 times myself) but I guess its just these little rinky dink places over here that dont mean much to the 'real men of diesel'. At the gun club he didnt blow becasue of nos. The nut on the compressor wheel came off and the turbo let go when the wheel came off. Like I said come and find me over there. I hope we can meet up.
