Meigs County Ohio Pull MUST READ
I guess it would be must read for southeastern Ohio, Western WV and Northern KY pullers.
Friday 6:00 two class diesel - 1 street 8000- 1 hot 8000 (run what you brung)
Easy to get to. 17 miles from I 77(exit 146 Ravenswood Silverton) on US 33.
1.5 hours from the main columbus burbs down 33. The fair is at the junction of US 33 and Ohio Rt 7.
From what I understand a bunch of Crank it up Diesel duramaxipads are coming...and they have been calling alot of our local guys out. Lets get as many Cummins guys there as possible. I have ran against some of the CIUD guys early and a few of them run pretty hot-real hot... so we need as many Cummins there as possible....strength in numbers you know

Last year there were 41 trucks in the street class - or thereabouts. If youve been to Meigs i think you would agree that its a great track wouldnt you?
yes there are gas classes. Not sure of the details but Im thinking 5600,5800,6000 and maybe 6200 modified and cheater street, Super stock also. They pull the locals on thursday night. Not sure on semis.
Nice pull - got 1st in street class 319 Ft 2nd was also a 3rd gen (307) I was a little dissapointed in the number of trucks -way down from last year...around mid 20's this year.
I surprised the heck out of a lot of open class pullers....I got second place in the open (293) 1st was 305 ft.

yes kyle it is LOL, its better referred to as Meigxico or Meigstucky, its waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy down there in the southeast corner on the river, its about half way between BFE and "You sure got a purty mouth.".........no one take that seriously, its all in good humor.
What is your definition of true OPEN? If you mean a truck that couldnt travel 10 miles on the highway at 50 miles per hour, has to be started with ether, has solid suspensions, has the rear and front welded up, makes between 700-1000HP turns 4000-4500 RPM and has got to be trailered everywhere it goes then - yes there were around 10 trucks that fit that category.
If you mean that OPEN is like a Super Stock Diesel making 1200-1500 or bigger HP and turning 5000-6500RPM then - no there wasnt.
As far as Meigs countys location and existence how could you have never heard of Meigs County Gold??? Meigs made national news for it one year. If you got to ask what the Gold is...well its really green and it smells funny
