Lancaster shootout LOGAN???

If you were there you shold have introduced yourself. I would liked to have met you. I stunk the place up in the open class. I didnt build enough boost off the line and never got any speed going. Wasnt really fair pulling vs the super stock gas trucks.

I gotta say things went pretty good in the street class ( 1st place)...but I think its weird what is considered a street truck over in that area...I would say half the trucks that pulled in that class wouldnt qualify for a street class truck where we have pulled all summer. I was surprised at all the trucks that were trailered in for that class. I can see trailering in if you were worried about breaking but most of those guys were trailered in because they could'nt travel 5 miles on the street - now thats a street truck

Anyway, I had fun and talked to some real nice pullers over there. The people running the shootout were great and that announcer is the best I have heard anywhere.

i was gonna go up but after it rained so hard you couldnt see here on and off all afternoon, i figured it wasnt worth the almost 2 hour drive to get rained out since they said more was on the way, 2 very bad car wrecks, one a girl died in and another that my cousin was involved in cause of the rain, and we had to set the twin disk up on the gas truck to get it ready for our pull next week and there was some personal stuff that went on saturday nite that i needed to be home for, yeah some of those "street" trucks are pretty hot, more along the lines of the prostock category, Jason from Performance Truck is a great promotor, he can get alot of trucks to come to a pull and he is a good all around guy, and he has a nasty truck. i imagine alot of the trucks that couldn't qualify at Scheid came and ran also.

Oh yea I noticed that truck...it really caught my attention because he was running the rear so low. Another thing I found out that a Sverson was driving a truck for a guy whose last name is Blair...I just heard Sverson over the speaker and thought he or his relatives got an extra truck.
