I agree the Valtra has great potential but I bet it is a completely different beast when it comes to cam and pump timing. I thinking it doesn't have the right cam grind or timing on the lobs the way it falls on its face with a load. A bunch of us were wondering if they put the head on a flow bench to see exactly what they were working with before they had a cam ground for it. Even with high boost cam timing is everything to a motor. Those little Duetz tractors are pretty impressive!
