I'm game for sure. The cities is about 4 hours from me. Mind if I post info on competitiondiesel.com? I know of a couple trucks in my area that are on that forum more.

He's not gonna mind. The more the better. No one is going to disagree with that.

Thanks Mike

Yes I spoke with John last week (thanks again Mike) and we are going to chat again tomorrow. Abviously it will only make sense to do it on a weekend with the fewest other pulls/dyno's/show's/etc.

Sounds like we are going to HAVE to have a minium of about 25 trucks.

You can sign me up, I may even drag my dad out so he can see what his truck lays down.

I may be able to bring a couple buddies along aswell.

Any idea on how much a pull(s) are going to cost?

I think someone else above me mentioned a dyno already. If not. Last year John from Floor It Diesel brought his portable dyno up to Rock Ville at Pickup's & Powersports for a event. It was great turnout and he has one nice Dyno!

Sounds like a good time-what about food???

Count me in, that is about 20 min from my house!!!

I'll be there with my 06 and I'll bring my bud with his 05 D-max and another with his 03 D-max (too many D-maxx's).

I can probably track down several more but not sure if they are going to spin the rollers or not.

I better get my XZT switched over so I can put some pressure on JR.

UPDATE

Just talked to the dyno owner and I should have a for sure date within the next 2 weeks.

If there are dates that work really well for you guys then post them so we can aim for something close if not the actual date!!!!!! (hoping for June)

Ball park GUESS per person rockin the rollers = 3 runs for $90 any early sign up's are likely to save a few dollars!!!!! If you would only like 1 run it will NOT be $30 and 2 runs will NOT be $60 probably more! This is a package price for 3 runs per person to allow you to try some different combinations with your TRUCK's set up.

**THERE WILL NOT BE A SIGNUP SHEET UNTIL WE ARRIVE ON A DATE.**

So is John from Floor It Diesel bringing his dyno up?

When he had his out at RockVille last year we got 2 pulls for $70, or $75. It was somewhere in there. So $90 for 3 pulls sounds good to me.

Somebody above me mentioned food, is that in the plans anywhere?

Should we bring out some grills and do brats or something?

Omaharam, you need to come up

I would like to see Omaharam runs his beast in person, that truck looks mean by his sig.

For dates, I would try to stay away from father's day weekend if possible (6-14 and 6-15) other wise June should be a good month.

Talked to one of my buds with a 04 powdersmoke and he is scared of the rollers, got more d-max's that want to run than I can count, some contenders and some pretenders.

There is one guy running around down in this neck of the woods with a new 6.4 who will want to run I am sure. Use to have a 05 6.0 with HUGE power and a little grill gas in the back, maybe you locals remember seing the Stonewall ford running around with 40's under it. I will try to contact him to run the new iron, I am sure that he has some power in it by now.

Should be a good time, looking forward to it.

Well I know Nate will be there, I met him last year.............I bet he is hoping that he runs on the same dyno...........if he has some new mods he can get a good set of new numbers.
Have to see what we can do to try to get back on there, June gets tough cause of the events we attend.........shall see.

It sure is sounding like it won't be a problem to have enough trucks to meet John's minimum for the dyno. Just remember - SUNDAY event. I'm hoping to spin mine to the tune of 675hp by then.
