I only had about 5 hooks last year with my hp, and she dont even blink.....next year i will hopefully be in the 800 to 900 range......and will be hitting every sled pull i can around here......so we will see how she handles that...bigger question is how well it will handle sled pulling, then cleaning the 35's off, and hitting the track for some speed shifting fun!!

fountain1fan I bet your english teacher hated you lol!! Not ripping on you just thought it was funny but I agree with you. Leave aluminum in the over seas automobiles.

I've been welding scores of different alloys for close to 30 years now, using TIG, Mig, arc & torch - besides seeing many parts broken whether cast aluminum or cast iron, my observation has been that cast iron is quite a bit more difficult to repair than aluminum.
BTW - with your ASME certs, no doubt you've run across some of the code welders I have - nice piece of paper in hand, but not too good of a bead laid out on the job!

So, you are suggesting that Aluminum is not a good material to make rims out of? Someone should let Aloca know this right away.
Huh.

Stick with a good off road type of pattern of wheel and you should be safe.
