A little bit of bad news from my camp, I lost the headgasket today in my 24 valve. Although my brother and I will still be out at the track running his 12 valve, cant wait!

OK, I just got word that 3 trucks from Modesto are coming up. 1 bone stock Duramax, 1 modded Ford Powerstroke, and 1 "highly modified" Cummins(the guy's quote). The Duramax guy wants to make a baseline run.

 

Rockjeep , your brothers 1st gen runs pretty good out there, is he sandbagging at all running 13.30 et? I got out there late , didnt see Rick out there, that was me at the gate on the Harley when you guys were leaving.

 

Nope, we had a set of slicks in the bed

 

We ran an alltime best run of 12.10 @112.9 but on the last run snapped an output shaft ...it should be running again by the dyno day in Rohnert Part next weekend for sure, unless Suncoast won't stand behind their 3 year, unlimited warranty

 

Wow what a rush!! We had 14+ trucks there though not everybody ran.

Rockjeep , I did see you make one run with the slicks on, you were hooking up pretty good, Hey Rick you guys must have left before the eliminations began,

 

All in all, today was a great day. More trucks than expected showed up, and all of us had a great time. It sucks that the silver 12V Dodge broke something in the driveline on its last run, because it was causing all the crap talkers in the stands to shut up. I had ALOT of fun, and it was really cool to see the people who showed up. Can't wait to go to the dyno day next week.
