Drag Strip Times

Finally got to take my truck to the drag strip the other night. Best run was a 14.43 @ 90.5mph. I was pretty pleased. Given the mods in my sig, do these times seem about right?

Did you run with the OD off or on? Since you have a 4000gsk I would leave the OD off because you have the RPMs to take you through the lights. This might help some if you didn't do it already.

Well i tried a few different things. I was leaving the line at about 15psi. As soon as it shifts into 2nd i locked the converter, then let it shift into 3rd. Pretty close to the end of the run i would let it go ahead and shift into overdrive. I couldve left it in 3rd i guess but I dont feel like my times would have been any better. Eventhough i have the 4K spring kit, i dont think theres much benefit from running up in the higher rpms with the stock cam.
