I thought I had been, I take it you've started the new thread? See Charlie, this is why you need a VP (and I don't mean the one in your truck)

We will not make the Dyno... but we'll be there on Saturday... should have the 1st gen.. and at least 1 antique... (paint is on most of the sheet metal... just have to sand, and lay some clear on... probably no cut tires for this trip..)

If RJ, Brian N pull its going to be a good class of Super Street trucks... I haven't talked to the other 1st gen puling truck to see if they are going to make it..

Don't worry Brian - you'll have a secret weapon:

The Lazar Lunette is guaranteed to help you pull farther, faster and with less carnage... or at least make you look good tryin' !!!

Yup! Can feel the suction from Waco, all the way up here!
Original plan was to try pulling (for first time) in the Fun/Newbie/"Run what you brung" event.

It's open for discussion but I'd prefer first time to be with a lighter, slower progressing sled, assuming they do that?
After reading about 50 pulling threads (as indoctrination) I'm convinced drag racing might be a walk in the park.... compared to pulling!

Brian, RJ... I'm sure we can find a group to ride on the skip pan of the sled while your pulling.. and coach you along... The more people we add.. the slower progressing the weight box will be...

No big deal if we have to run 'Super Street'. Won't be first time I have embarrased myself.
Might need a little coaching from you (list of Do's & Don't) beforehand??

Don't worry guys there will be plenty of people willing to lend advise, there's nothing to be embarresed about. heck at least you guys are going to pull and try it, which is great. I just hope more will try, and see how addicting it is. Well that's how it was for me anyways...
