not a very good event at all, if you have that many trucks, you need to have the time between the trucks pulling to be a minimum, and that is what wastes a lot of time.

they finally got smart and hitched the tractor to the back of the sled and pulled it back into place

I left at 3, when the sled broke, and my buddy calls me and says that it will be another 2 1/2 hours to make the shaft, and everyone was pretty ticked off, so they bailed.

I pulled once and they forgot run the box blade over the track in front of guy in front of me & didn't see the foot tall wall of dirt until I was about 100 feet down the track. When I hit the dirt pile my truck jumped crazy and when the sled hit it it almost stopped me. Still got a 188 feet, but they refused me a repull. My friend that asked the official for a repull said he wouldn't even look at him when he said no and blew him off. So we loaded up and and went back to vent a little to the officials and the sled was completely broke down. They finally decided to refund the guys who hadn't pulled yet unless they wanted to wait the estimated two hours they thought it would take to fix the sled (would've been about 5:30 am). I would've left long before that but they refused refunds. A few of the officials promised that at the pull on Sept. 29 that sled would not be there. Had two really good pulls Friday night, not winners but still good. Overall had a good time and plan to do it again next year, but only on the nights they have the Ironman sled.

Yes.. Lynn had a good pull with his truck Saturday night.. I think they flagged him to stopp... but I was thinking there was another truck that Fullpulled too, but we left before they got 1/2 finished with the stock class..
His truck has been getting better all the time... I think he's been having some work done to it......

Anyone have any Video???

I think I'm going to say something to one of the guys who ran it. I know him and I'm definitely going to make a few comments about the sled and how poorly everything was ran.

While your talking to him, ask him if he is going to refund the money for all the guys who didnt get to pull or did they and I left too early?? I know I only lost 30 bucks, but 30 trucks that didnt get to pull times 30 dollars...is 900 dollars that they stole IMO.

Every stinking year they have some sorta deal go on with the sled... last year they had a nice one out of bowling green and ............. it broke ha ha ha then they got the old junky one out and it lasted F O R E V E R :l NOT COOL THEY need to just get a good sled and go with it. They are going to end up running everyone off like they did the smoking tractors years ago. Last year they had to pay redhorse just to come pull once????
