cut tires on "stock" truck???

i caught on to something, around my area lately during pulls, alot of places run a 8000 open diesel truck class, well with only kyle michaels, eric stacey and terry martin being the closest open trucks, rarely do any of them show up to brush pulls and if they do its only 1 or 2 trucks that even run in the class and most pay 3 places and trophies, do you guys think a 2WD "stock" truck, as in injectors, tweaked pump, plenty of air and fuel, would be ok to run in the open class with a set of cut tires on the rear??? should be pretty easy to make some quick money and trophies??? i could of taken a 2nd place in the open class saturday nite if i had a set of decent tires, considering it was straley, a stock 4x4 f150 and a stock f250 diesel, a 2wd common rail on street tires pulled over 200 feet 2 classes before and i think i could do the same on cut tires or better, maybe i could get something caught on. how would you suggest i weight it, all of it over the axle or some on the nose or where would it work best??? reason i say cut tires i got a buddy with 4 old cut 31x15.50x15 cepeks that would work great on a wide set of 15" wheels cause cut tires are legal in the open class.
