Yeah Brandon,

I could just imagine Jeff Foxworthy saying:

"If you work on your pullin truck in the driveway during a snow storm....you might be a Redneck"

I thought that setup looked awfully familiar to p-pumped's. Did you have to modify the tow hook any or is there room to get that pin down through it without interference from the bumper? I can't tell from the pic but I assume that you made the mounts on the rack to just slip tightly over the tow hook and then pin it? Your truck looks better and better each time I see pictures of it, keep up the good work

Thanks guys.

Fordper4mance,
Yes, the tubing slips over the tow hooks then I drilled a 1/2" hole through the meaty part of the tow hook and used a 1/2" hitch pin to secure each side.

Looks great. Where did you go to get the weights? and are there restrictions on the type and size of weights you are allowed to use at most pulls?

I got the weights from a local tractor shop that sells used tractors and equipment.
I bought 11 of them for $45 each. They are 100lbs each.

The only rules usually is that the weights cannot protrude over 60" inches past the front centerline of the axle.
And of course the weight limit for the class IE 8000lbs total.

Some pulls require that you gang them together so that they dont fall off.
Its good to strap then down just in case.

Im tryin to come up with a design that I could leave on and still look good. I prefer the prerunner style of push bar and I would like to make it capable of holding the weight. I work with stainless so I was thinkin that it would be a no brainer so that I wouldnt scrub off paint when I put the weights on/off. But if I cannot come up with anything Im happy with then I will probably go the same route you did and go removable.

Ill check the local tractor shops for the weights. Thanks.
