Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

Owner/operators with their own authority?

I'm looking to see if anyone on here has their own authority to haul freight. I'm in the process of doing so and looking for suggestions. Thank's

1. A DOT number is FREE

2. MC number will cost $300.00 do it on line and don't hire it done.

3. Liability Insurance for the truck and cargo insurance for cargo.

You can find all this information at this link

If you don't have cargo insurance to cover what you haul you risk everything.
