Cat C13 and C15 Question

Could someone please tell me if the Cat C13 and C15 engines always had the twin turbos or did they go with the twins turbos recently?

Thanks

Correct.. the C15 and C13 ACERT engines first debut was late 03 for the EPA 04 emissions.

Ahh! THAT makes more sense. I knew some had two in series but had never heard of 4. I'm no diesel guru by any stretch of the imagination, so it kinda piqued my interest!

Thanks for the explanation and sorry I can't help with your question.

I am sorry for the use of sarcasm,I was under the influence of Nyquil. What I should have said was the C-15 came out in 2000. I had to wait for 2 months for the new engine when I ordered the truck.

Sarcasm? Wander over to the 'Breakroom' thread if you wanna see sarcasm! You're fine! Glad to have you here.

Where is Hillman MI? I'm in K'zoo.

Oh, and Nyquil is fine stuff. Better if you mix it with Mountain Dew!
