All Brake Lights on after towing?

After towing my B-I-L's trailer with the trailer unhooked and truck shut off I noticed all of my brake lights were on, tried just about everything to turn them off and nothing worked. I started her and shut her off, nothing, played with the pedal, nothing...Finally I started her, pulled forward a foot and shut her off and they were off again? I hooked up the trailer again and the same thing happened until I moved the truck a foot or so and shut her down.

Any ideas? Anyone ever experience this?

Admins/Mods please move to towing if you feel it would be better placed.

I had the same thing, it's the brake switch:
