well did some work to the the 95

well as some of you know i did some work on my my 95 so i thought i would post some pics

list of parts
colt stage three cam
hx-35 over 3b with 38mm ex waste gated
sdx 140hp
adjustable pump gear
.022 dvs
stage 2 meth kit
4000 gsk
60 lbs springs
bd flex plate
oil filter relocate kit

That would be a red engine. I remember when Luke painted his engine, looked orange in the pics too.

You get a new timing cover fabbed up, or are you going with a billet one?

yup, I bet thats cummins apex red. same as I did my engine before. its kinda weird it photographs orange like tate said. but is red in real life.

Cummins Apex Red is almost the same color as chevy red and its half the cost as the cummins red.

i think i am going to keep the stock cover till paint time , it is apex red but it's only 10 buck a can so no chev color on my dodge lol ,,, and thanks

I used the elcheapo canadian tire engine enamel red for a base coat. Red looks nice, just lots of work to make sure you get decent coverage. You need two to three coats, or one really thick coat. Also found that paint doesn't like oil or varsol.

Lol ok ok Cummins red
I was thinking about trying to find Hemi Orange I see Dupli Color has most of the paint Codes . Thats If and when i ever get my junk started

good choice. i wish i painted mine when i had the chance, but needed the truck the next day, so couldnt wait on the paint. these things should come red from the factory. i bet they'd sell more.

the cummins stuff from cummins. is high solids engine enamel. just so everyones aware its not just junk spray.

I found some high gloss black enamel at Canadian tire, sure added some gloss under the hood. Looks good, I have to see how long it stays on the part. Sure cheaper than power coating.

Painting/making pretty stuff sure takes a lot longer than just slamming the truck back together.
