Tranny dipstick tube

Hey guys, is there a trick that I am missing here... When I was pulling the AC lines off of the truck I dislodged the dipstick tube, where a large mess insued. I seem to be having a heck of a time to get the sucker to go back in, is there a trick here that I just dont see?

I had the same problem when I put mine back on... I got underneath and pulled, and had someone on the top pushing and wiggling it a little. It's just stubborn.

If that does not work, get a piece of thin rope, tie it around it with about a half inch of play, stick a short socket extension in it and twist it one time to make it tight, then add an extension to either side. Then, pull down on that... it'll give you a little more leverage.

If that was clear as mud, pm me, I'll give you my number, and I'll try to do a little better.
